Have you already passed AAT Level 2 or equivalent? Do you already have 2-3 accounting experience and fully understand manual double-entry bookkeeping. If your answer is yes, the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting and AAT Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting is your perfect starting point.

The Level 3 Diploma starts at the month-end procedures where the Certificate in Accounting Level 2 finished. Level 3 will introduce you to financial reporting for sole traders, partnerships and small limited companies. In addition you will learn about more complex management accounting reports. On successful completion of the Level 3, you studies during Level 4 will move into drafting statutory financial statements, reporting frameworks, internal control systems, tax computations and much more. At the end of your Professional Level 4 studies, you will become an AAT Accountant with "MAAT" letters after your name.

What will I study in the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting and AAT Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting package?

There are 4 modules to complete AAT Level 3. At the end of each module, you will sit an exam as follows:

  • Financial Accounting: Preparing Financial Statements - 1 exam

  • Management Accounting Techniques - 1 exam

  • Tax Processes for Businesses - 1 exam

  • Business Awareness - 1 exam

There are 5 modules to complete AAT Level 4. At the end of each module, you will sit an exam as follows:
